Kinder Louisiana 1916 Calcasieu Trust And Savings Bank Loan Repayment Notes
The notes measure about 8 3/8″ x 3 5/8″ in size. They are numbered in their upper left hand (viewer’s left) from 1 to 36. All have a date of 1916 on them. There are tears and spots on the notes and they have browned throughout the years and are rather brittle. The red ink writing on the left side of them is illegible. They have a stamped seal on them. It is unknown what the loan was for; the payments are for 10 dollars. The notes are creased from being folded in the middle for many years. These will ship folded on the crease down the middle in a box (inside a bag) to prevent damage.
